Description
We are looking for a Financial Analyst to track Calo's financial performance against a plan, analyze business performance, and help senior management build forecasts by providing periodic reports. An outstanding Financial Analyst should possess a depth of experience with financial modeling, strong Excel skills, highly organized, and able to work with little to no supervision and perform in a timely effective way. Provide analytical, forecasting, reporting, and project support to senior management. Produce monthly reports, which include key metrics, financial results, and variance vs. budget reporting. Spearhead the annual and quarterly budgeting and forecasting processes. Identify opportunities for financial performance improvement across the organization. Develop models that help with decision-making and support valuation, planning, and forecasting. Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking. Aid in the capital budgeting and expenditure planning processes. Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts. Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews. Increase productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools. Maintain a strong financial analysis foundation creating forecasts and models. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA or CMA a plus. 3-5+ years of business finance or other relevant experience, financial planning & analysis, investment banking, or other related fields. Strong working knowledge of Excel and financial modeling. Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. Attention to accuracy and detail required. High proficiency in financial modeling techniques. Excellent communication and presentation skills; be comfortable interacting with executive-level management and shareholders.
