Description
Waiter Duties & Responsibilities: To provide quality service in the hotel's F&B outlet, banquet and catering guests though prompt and courteous food and beverage service. Establishes, promotes and maintains good public relations while meeting or exceeding guest expectations. Demonstrates teamwork by co-operating and assisting coworkers as needed. Provides prompt, courteous service by bussing, serving and setting tables. Sets tables as needed prior to guest arrival. Acquires a working knowledge of hotel, in-house facilities and local information to respond to guest questions in these areas as required. Ensures guests are greeted upon arrival Maintains an up to date knowledge of the hotel and services. Supplies information and responds to guest queries. Ensures effective handover is done, gaining information from earlier shift. Forwards all guest complaints or problems to the manager on duty. Ensures that phone calls are answered properly up to the standards.
