Description
Duties include: Propose necessary budget for both local and international events; Propose complete entertainment content for local and international events; Outline the logistics, budgets and other specifics involved in organizing events; Handle all aspects of event logistics; Supervise temp staff at events, assign duties, and provide general direction; Support the department with all financials and budget reports; Establish and update Entertainment content; Contract and manage all local suppliers to complete event logistics; Train and manage volunteers/temp staff; Create, design and execute all event requirements; Manage and deliver all contracted obligations; Establish and maintain strong relationships with regional and international entertainment companies/groups; Able to review contracts and negotiate; Complete all logistical requirements for event delivery; Responsible for travel planning and accommodation booking for all traveling staff members; Day-to-day administration of events including ticketing, accommodation, visas, record keeping, budgeting, inventory, equipment purchasing and quality control; and Coordinate shipments in and out of events. Bachelor’s degree in event management or mass communication. Requirements for this role: Must be proficient in all computer skills, Arabic and English; Minimum of 6 years’ experience; Photoshop, illustrator is a plus; Must be creative and able to think outside of the box and have the ability to deliver any and all concepts; Excellent internet research skills; Able to deliver complete proposal with ideas and costs as per the deadlines set; Should be able to handle projects single handedly; Good contacts with local and international suppliers; Excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English; Excellent negotiation skills; Time management and good leadership skills; Excellent computer skills and administration; Good accounting skills; Basic photo shop skills; Team player; Punctuality; Able to work with very little supervision or unsupervised and establish priorities among competing assignments and tasks.
