Description
The Counsellor will identify and give coaching/training as well as continuous tactics and tactics to help students to exploit their strengths and compensate for their deficiencies in completing academic activities, reporting to the Associate Director, Accessibility Services. She or he will examine learning disability and other paperwork, as well as plan and implement better services, including learning techniques. This role will support students with impairments in identifying and customizing their learning style to fulfill academic objectives. Working with students individually and in groups/workshop settings, as well as aiding administration, teachers, and staff in a consultative position in recognizing and dealing with student difficulties faced in an academic context, are among the responsibilities. She/he keeps track of and reports on students' progress, and directs them to relevant programs and resources at the College and/or in the community to address potential challenges or challenges that may interfere with the student's learning. She or he may be asked to help with additional tasks such as student recruiting, selection, and employment, engagement with community organizations, professional development, and equipment control.
